A place of worship and an anchor for the community to grow
HINDU SAMAJ (SHEFFIELD AND DISTRICT), charity number: 517550 was established in 2000, has its roots in the resilient spirit of a community determined to rise from adversity. Built on the grounds of a Methodist Church and schools. Today, our car park stands where the church once was. Our current mandir building, once a part of the school complex, has been a hub of education and community. Generations of students were nurtured here, instilling values of service and compassion.
Since our inception, Mandir has evolved into a beacon of hope, offering assistance and solace to those in need. We embrace the rich history of this site, a story of resilience, transformation, and unwavering commitment. For all communications we use Sheffield Hindu Mandir and community centre.
Join us in our mission to create a better world by being a part of this journey. Together, we weave a tapestry of compassion, love, and service, upholding Mandir's values and making the world brighter, one act of kindness at a time. Thank you for being a part of our story.
